How to Get Your Child Into Karting (Ages 5–8) in the UAE: A Parent’s Guide to Bambino Racing

If your little one has a need for speed and dreams of racing like Max Verstappen, karting could be the perfect sport to nurture their passion. In the UAE, Bambino karting—designed for children aged 5 to 8 years old—offers a fun, structured, and safe way to introduce your child to the world of motorsport.

At Motorscape, we help families start their racing journey with expert guidance, high-quality equipment, and access to the UAE’s top Bambino racing championships.

What Is Bambino Karting?

Bambino karting is the first step into competitive motorsport for kids aged 5 to 8. They can start from the year they turn 5 years old. It’s where young drivers learn the fundamentals of kart control, track safety, racing lines, and sportsmanship. The karts are built for smaller drivers with limited speeds, making it safe but still thrilling.

Whether your child just wants to try something new or you’re aiming for a future racing career, Bambino karting is where it all begins.

What Kind of Kart Does a Bambino Use?

There are two popular engine categories for Bambino racing in the UAE:

  • Comer C50/ C52: Ideal for beginners, the Comer 50cc engine is fitted to most Bambino Karts.

  • IAME M1: Small and compact 60cc power unit is designed to introduce the very youngest drivers to Karting

At Motorscape, we support both Comer and IAME karts, giving your child a pathway from beginner to competitive racer.
